This talk will consider what can be done now to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from homes and to ensure we have more resilient housing.
Homes are one of the places where we rely on energy for most activities, and we all have a stake in the future of our homes. The UK Climate Change Committee have proposed a series of ‘low regrets’ measures for heat, and in Scotland, there is already a plan in the form of the Heat in Buildings Strategy. This talk will consider what can be done now, by whom, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from homes and to ensure we have more resilient housing stock, able to withstand increasing extremes of weather.
