How to design, build and fly a micro-satellite

How is a satellite designed and built? This event combines short talks and live laboratory tours of the Mercury micro-satellite project.

Space technology represents a rapidly developing sector in Scotland with internationally leading research and commercial activity. This event will provide an insight into how space technologies are devised, developed and demonstrated. Although on-line, the event will provide a mix of short talks, live laboratory tours and demonstrations of space hardware. In particular, the ZEUS experiment which was flown on a European Space Agency parabolic flight campaign in October 2021 will be presented.
