Use the magic of poetry to make sense of the big and daunting climate changes happening in our world.
Most of us in the UK have experienced climate anxiety at some point. Worries about climate change, Great Britain – Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk)
This anxiety can manifest as fear, confusion, worry and, for some, even a sense of apathy linked to climate change.
This engaging workshop will be ‘Exploring the climate crisis through poetry.’
With the help of Sam Illingworth, poet, scientist, and science communicator, we’ll use the magic of poetry to make sense of the big and daunting climate changes happening in our world. Through creative processes, we want to create a welcoming environment to explore our emotional responses.
Together, we’ll learn to express and process our thoughts and feelings about climate change in a personal and relatable way.
You don’t need to be a poet or a scientist to participate – just have an interest in learning.
