Access these unique facilities through an immersive guided tour led by researchers from the University of St Andrews and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. Learn all about the current research taking place in the Budongo Research Unit and Living Links Research Centre with chimpanzees, capuchin monkeys and squirrel monkeys– exploring everything from the evolution of the human mind, how technology can aid primate research and the importance of science communication – and understand why it all matters.
You’ll get the exciting opportunity to see primate research in action, test out the same experimental apparatus we use with the chimpanzees and monkeys and see how your skills compare to the resident primates!
